Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant position at SportsOhio provides administrative support to the venue's growth initiatives, handling a range of tasks including data entry, office operations, and documentation. Responsibilities include basic accounts receivable/payable and general ledgers, inventorying office supplies and staff uniforms, filing and scanning daily reports, coordinating new-hire onboarding and required training, maintaining training records, answering calls and directing inquiries, supporting day-to-day office processes, and assisting managers with special projects while ensuring organized, efficient workflows. Strong written and verbal communication, professional demeanor, and proficiency with MS Office are required; MS Dynamics experience is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be willing to work weekends or during events as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using MS Dynamics a plus
- Ability to take ownership of special projects and tasks with little supervision
- Must be willing to work weekends and/or special events
