Job Summary
Administrative Assistant/Professional Development Coordinator provides administrative, organizational, and financial support for the Curriculum and Instruction department. Responsibilities include managing the purchase order process, vendor communications, and invoice processing; maintaining calendars, reports, and confidential files; coordinating professional development opportunities to earn CEUs and SEMI credits; organizing textbook inventory; coordinating student-teacher placements and district hiring-related activities; compiling end-of-year reports; supporting district-level hiring; communicating with principals, vendors, parents, and schools; directing professional development activities and training; aligning resources to implement professional development; coordinating release time, PLC opportunities, mentor programs, and the District Professional Development Plan; facilitating CEU/SEMI tracking and state reporting for teacher evaluations and district initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience
- Excellent communication skills
