Job Summary

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Executive Director and branch leadership team, including assisting with payroll processing, coordinating office supply purchases, and managing facility rental reservations. Prepare meeting materials, take minutes during Board and leadership meetings, and assist with employee onboarding by preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation. Maintain calendars, organize files, and manage records while collaborating with staff across departments to ensure smooth operations. This part-time role offers free YMCA membership, employee discounts, paid training, and a retirement plan with a 12% employer contribution. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of administrative, office support, customer service, or executive support experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Experience preparing meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, and maintaining accurate records
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, volunteers, members, vendors, and community partners
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
