Job Summary
Answer Property Management Department telephone calls, relay messages, and resolve issues independently while preparing necessary paperwork. Screen incoming mail, distribute correspondence, and handle resident complaints. Input work orders into Yardi, manage maintenance tracking systems, and file department documents appropriately. Assist Property Managers with scheduling, generate status reports, and maintain tenant and vendor contact lists. Prepare legal notices, including late notices and rent payment alerts, ensuring proper filing. Order office supplies, perform preventive maintenance on equipment, and scan paper files to digital databases.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Proficient in Word
- Proficient in Outlook
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in Yardi
- 2-3 years' experience in real estate management
- Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of the company at all levels
- Highly organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, follow through and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- College credits of 40 or better, AS or BA degree
- Bilingual Spanish/English
