Job Summary
Facilitate compliance efforts for clinical record documentation and chart maintenance standards for the FFA program while completing quality improvement tasks. Receive referrals, contact caregiver and referral sources regarding referrals, and verify insurance eligibility. Complete referral logs, enter client data in EHRS, and assign clients to therapists. Perform intake audits, complete due date documents for each therapist, and process discharges in EHRS. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record Systems. Valid CA driver's license and clear DMV record required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Three years of working experience in related field
- Working knowledge of DMH and Title 22 documentation
- Working knowledge of Quality Improvement practices
- Knowledge of privacy and security standards (HIPAA)
- Strong writing, communication, and teamwork skills with an ability to be a self-starter
- Efficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access)
- Proficiency in maintaining, and tracking of information (outcome measures/ reporting)
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Record Systems (EHRS), Los Angeles County's Integrated System (IS) and IBHIS
- Visual, physical and technical ability to independently operate a computer and a variety of office equipment, including telephone communications switchboard
- Ability to visually review data, hear and verbally communicate with others
- Emotional stability and ability to function effectively with children, adolescents and adults who may have mental or behavioral health problems
- Appropriate daily behavior, appropriate expression of emotions, as well as appropriate role modeling
- Ability to pass criminal/fingerprinting background check, TB test, physical exam and drug screen tests
- Valid CA driver's license and a clear DMV record or CA ID card
- Vaccination and boost against COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
