Job Summary
Administrative Assistant at Mercury Electronics performing data entry across order entry, shipping, purchasing, and quality control; duties include filing, scanning, faxing, emailing, receptionist tasks, mail sorting, creating spreadsheets/letters/forms, and completing special projects. Requires highly organized, detailed work, strong typing and ten-key, excellent written/spoken communication, ability to work independently or on a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and browsers; overtime may be required; entry-level with potential for advancement in a contract-manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work
- Excellent typing and ten-key skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly and independently
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Experience with Internet Explorer or other web browsers
- Desirable: Production Scheduling, Database/ERP systems, Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with a manufacturing company is a plus
- Ability to occasionally work overtime
