Job Summary
Administrative Assistant on-site in Southaven, MS supporting scheduling, coordination, and follow-up for meetings, events, and professional travel; calendar management; document and presentation preparation; invoicing and reimbursements; correspondence transcription; departmental project support; website/web page/database management; social media; phone coverage; and ensuring accuracy through attention to detail. Requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, confidentiality, professionalism, and proficiency with office technology. Position is a limited-tenure role to support the formation and launch of a new company and laboratory, with potential transition to a permanent infrastructure position within a separate company from Mayo Clinic Laboratories.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency with computer hardware and software, telecommunication, and office equipment
- Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Experience with scheduling, calendar management, travel coordination, document preparation, and presentation materials
- Experience creating and maintaining websites, web pages, databases, spreadsheets, and social media accounts
- Ability to answer telephones and provide follow-through
