Job Summary

Administrative Assistant Level I provides front-office and administrative support to tenants, property managers, contractors, and internal teams. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls, greeting customers, data entry, record keeping, filing, ordering supplies, managing the AAHC website, and entering work orders. The role involves reviewing applications for completeness and accuracy for housing programs (HCV, PBV, RAD, and VASH) and providing information to prospective applicants. Essential duties encompass coordinating customer service for the Housing Commission, developing customer relationships, scheduling meetings and events, composing/distributing correspondence, maintaining documents, handling general office duties, operating standard office equipment, maintaining retention schedules, organizing data for reports, answering questions related to municipal programs, and supporting hardware/software maintenance. Training and experience require a HS diploma or GED and 1-2 years of office experience/customer service. Schedule is on-site, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.
