Job Summary
Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) at a mission-driven nonprofit supporting older adults, caregivers, and the community. Responsibilities include administrative support (scheduling, filing, correspondence, invoices), maintaining filing systems, assisting with authorization and reimbursement processes, data entry and reporting, maintaining client records, and ensuring compliance and confidentiality. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple tasks, and experience with Medicaid authorization processes and insurance-related workflows. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's Degree and experience with insurance processes or nonprofit organizations. Flexible part-time schedule (approximately 25 hours/week, Monday–Friday) with a focus on supporting program operations and coordination with managers, staff, clients, insurers, and community partners.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of administrative, office support, healthcare administration, human services, or related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms
- Experience with data entry and database management
