Job Summary
Responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing documents for the Pastor’s signature, and providing general support to the Parish Staff. The role includes greeting visitors, maintaining office inventories, and managing correspondence. Requires basic office skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and previous office experience. This full-time position involves working with diverse tasks such as managing files, executing promotional campaigns, and ensuring hospitality for visitors.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related office experience or equivalent combination of formal education and related work experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access and Excel
- Filing and other general office skills
- Availability to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Some college or formal secretarial training
- 5 years direct secretarial experience in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced applications of the Microsoft Office suite
- Bookkeeping
- Dictation/transcription
- Bi-lingual (Spanish Preferred)
