Job Summary
Provides general administrative support to the Office of the Provost & Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs and associated offices, including scheduling appointments and meetings, arranging travel, creating and maintaining files, greeting visitors, coordinating logistics for meetings and events (e.g., New Faculty Orientation, Titan Leadership Academy, Academic Open House, and professional development workshops), and handling communications with confidentiality. Responsibilities include preparing and auditing complex records and documents, supporting Higher Learning Commission visit preparations, coordinating student employment processes, maintaining records, distributing communications, and supporting back‐up for staff. Requires strong written and oral communication, customer service, calendar management, event planning, and the ability to interpret university policies; proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat; and ability to work both independently and in a team while upholding diversity and inclusion principles.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency with computers and software (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat)
- Ability to interpret and apply University and System policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proofreading skills and attention to discrepancies
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience with event planning and organizational coordination
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
