Job Summary
Provide administrative support to the Principal, maintain and organize files and records, and assist with day-to-day operations of the education office. Major duties include composing correspondence, maintaining the appointment calendar, preparing travel vouchers, organizing unit filing systems, managing student records flow, processing mail, maintaining electronic data and files, coordinating paperwork, testing/class schedules, preparing monthly reports, maintaining time sheets, consolidating annual budgets and campus documents, and maintaining attendance and ACA reports. Requires high school diploma or GED and five years of relevant clerical/secretarial experience; proficient typing (45 WPM with minimal errors) and strong oral/written communication. Position may involve remote work with personal technology to perform duties, and duties must be performed in a professional and confidential manner in accordance with Windham School District policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Five years of full-time, wage-earning general clerical, secretarial, or administrative support experience
- Type 45 net words per minute with no more than ten errors (preferred)
- Ability to work remotely with personal technology to enable job duties
