Job Summary
Duties include greeting and directing visitors; screening and routing phone calls; providing program and enrollment information to prospective students; ordering, receiving and maintaining office supplies, materials, and equipment; maintaining inventory and mail operations; assisting in CRM data input; scheduling facility requests and follow-up on work orders; assisting with Student Ambassador timekeeping reports; maintaining departmental records and files; assisting with new hire training; assisting with departmental travel requests; assisting with special projects, campus tours and events; and other duties as assigned. The role requires computer literacy with Microsoft Office, knowledge of college/office procedures and recordkeeping, the ability to carry out professional assignments independently, and effective written and verbal communication with a diverse campus community; adherence to college policies, safety, information security, and non-discrimination guidelines; and a commitment to a “Students First” approach. Preference for demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, familiarity with social media platforms, and outreach principles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one year of clerical experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records, answering telephones, and reviewing forms, documents and other written materials; OR six months of experience as an Administrative Aid in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
