Job Summary
Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Healthy Families Program staff and assists clients with resources and referrals. The role serves as a member of the KID support team, offering relief to the front desk and switchboard as needed. Requires organizational, typing, and strong written and verbal communication skills, a High-School diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of administrative/secretarial experience. Must have a Valid Florida Driver's License with insurance coverage and be prepared for background screening and drug testing. Flexible hours may include weekends to meet program needs.
Required Qualifications
- High-School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years administrative/secretarial experience
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word
- Proven typing, organizational, and computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals or technical procedures written in English
- Ability to type reports and business correspondence in English
- Valid Florida Driver's License with full-time access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage (proof of insurance)
- Background screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
- Drug testing requirement as stated by employer
- Flexibility to work hours that may include weekends
