Job Summary
Manage Prisoners of War correspondence, including "Geneva Conventions letters," by creating and maintaining paper and electronic records in specialized databases. Draft, edit, and finalize correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, and official documents for internal and external communication. Coordinate meetings, prepare rooms, and provide technical support for video calls while updating planning tools and tracking invoices. Apply information management protocols for data security, manage petty cash per accounting guidelines, and handle general administrative tasks like document destruction and supply management. Start immediately in Kyiv with a competitive salary of UAH 42,000–56,000 (gross) and medical insurance. Join the ICRC Protection Unit in Ukraine to support humanitarian mission objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
- High school diploma or equivalent training
- At least two years of professional experience in a secretarial or administrative position
- Strong organizational abilities with a meticulous and systematic approach to managing tasks and prioritizing work
- Good oral and written communication skills in both Ukrainian and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Team Space, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a diverse team and establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment
