Job Summary
The Library Administrative Assistant provides technical, clerical, and administrative support to the College Librarian. Responsibilities include managing fiscal operations and budgets, coordinating staff scheduling, onboarding, and events, processing purchasing and invoices, handling travel reimbursements, and serving as a primary liaison to internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves coordinating building maintenance and equipment, supervising student employees, maintaining records and statistics, and supporting library operations and special projects. Requires an Associate’s degree, 3+ years of administrative experience, and a valid driver’s license; preferred experience in a library. Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills are essential; ability to drive off-campus when needed and to adapt to changing priorities.
