Job Summary
Provide comprehensive administrative support for Mt. Pleasant Public Schools Central Office. Responsibilities include assisting in preparing and processing salary statements, maintaining accurate personnel and benefits records, preparing ACA reports and submitting payroll-related documents, communicating with employees about insurance options and coordinating open enrollment, assisting with employee onboarding, auditing and reviewing financial documentation related to grants, and coordinating with the Business Office on wage and benefits verification. Requires proficiency with Google Drive/Docs/Sheets and Microsoft Office, strong data-entry accuracy, ability to handle interruptions, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, professional environment with attention to confidentiality and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business/Office Administration
- Experience using Google Drive/Docs/Sheets and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal requirements of personnel and benefits records, files and reports
- Budget knowledge and accounting skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with administrators, staff, teachers, parents and the community
- Ability to complete tasks accurately during periods of frequent interruptions
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
