Job Summary

Provides on-site administrative support for a field district/department on a temporary full-time basis. Supports engineers and field employees with project-related tasks, maintains extensive filing and sign-in/sign-out logs, prepares and edits documents (PDFs, Excel spreadsheets), and manages payroll input for hourly staff. Handles travel and accommodation arrangements for out-of-state staff, coordinates meetings and safety/ training logs, procures office supplies, and assists with new-employee onboarding and paperwork. Requires an associate degree (or equivalent experience) with strong MS Office skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and professional communication; construction industry exposure preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Associates Degree and/or 3+ years of related administrative experience
  • MS Office proficiency (Excel and Word)
  • Ability to set up spreadsheets in Excel
  • Professional communication skills and demeanor
  • Well-organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledge of Union Employees’ benefits, changes, and wage adjustments a plus
  • Assist in new employee orientation and paperwork
