Job Summary
Collect, review, and analyze data to prepare reports, charts, budgets, and presentation materials for the Grants Management Office using word processing, spreadsheet, and eRA Commons software. Enter, maintain, and reconcile documentation into a database containing award information, status updates, and ownership details. Place orders for supplies, arrange travel, contact grantees regarding late applications, and resolve outstanding Closeout Issues with FIC grants. Arrange meetings for Grants Staff, assist with data calls from the Office of the Director, and triage requests for competing grants. Provide documentation verifying all supply orders, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and grant communications. Maintain calendars, perform data entry, develop spreadsheets, and manage office records while ensuring SAM registration updates are current. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, up to 20 hours per week, with telework authorized as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a college degree or a high school diploma and four (4) years of work experience related work experience
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and databases
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Knowledgeable in the operation of office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines, labelers, etc.) to scan, file, and/or store both electronic and paper documents for future use
- Knowledge of personal computers, including experience in using word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software, is required to enter and retrieve computerized data and prepare correspondence and reports
- Good writing, grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills to compose and review correspondence
- Telework/Remote work may be authorized, as needed
