Job Summary
Administrative Assistant supports facility staff in front office, day-to-day operations, and other duties as needed within a fast-paced behavioral health residential setting. Responsibilities include fielding telephone calls, greeting guests, providing facility tours, assisting clients with requests, maintaining front-office supplies, and performing other duties. Requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year related experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational and data-entry skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Occasional travel between sites may be required; shift coverage includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role emphasizes independent work and teamwork within an Arizona Department of Health Services licensed environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year related experience in an administrative or office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and data entry skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to greet guests and perform front-office duties
- CPR/First Aid/Narcan training (preferred or required)
- Background checks including fingerprint clearance
- Reliable transportation/driver’s license may be required for travel between sites (if applicable)
- Ability to sit/stand for extended periods and perform tasks as described in essential functions
- Willingness to perform other duties as required
- Knowledge of program guidelines and requirements
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
