Job Summary
Administrative Assistant in Daly City area to support the code enforcement team with managing records and documentation, tracking code enforcement cases, responding to public inquiries, supporting compliance activities, and coordinating departmental administrative functions. Responsibilities include coordinating administrative operations, preparing agendas and packets, attending meetings, recording minutes, tracking follow-up actions, managing calendars and travel logistics, organizing meetings/events, handling procurement, contracts, invoices, payroll, and budgeting, serving as primary contact for the public and external agencies, preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining filing systems, and supporting departmental reporting and records requests. Required skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, teamwork, organization, attention to detail, and familiarity with office technology and database systems. Knowledge of Brown Act requirements and experience supporting boards/commissions are also noted.
