Job Summary
Manage routine work activities in the Central Administration Office by preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations for the director and staff. Compile, maintain, and file all departmental records while performing bookkeeping tasks, processing purchase orders, and managing inventory. Answer incoming calls, route messages, and maintain appointment schedules for department activities. Make travel arrangements, distribute mail, and ensure strict confidentiality of information. Monitor personnel time records and follow district safety protocols. Requires high school diploma, proficient keyboarding skills, and ability to prioritize complex administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient skills in keyboarding, data entry, word processing, and file maintenance
- Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing
- Ability to prioritize workflow to address the multiple needs of the supervisor or the department
- Ability to multi-task numerous complex administrative activities
- Basic math skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
