Job Summary
Administrative Assistant in the CFPD Dept responsible for office operations and administrative functions to ensure effective school communications; handles attendance processing, facility and transportation requests, time cards, enrollment forms, student records, substitute staff coordination, and receptionist duties. Must produce memos/communications, resolve conflicts, discipline students as directed, process absences and leaves, manage school records and accounts, and support district office activities. Requires strong verbal and written communication, confidentiality, ability to perform multiple clerical tasks, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Responsibilities include handling phone calls, greeting visitors, and supporting staff, students, parents, and the community in a professional, organized manner.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year previous office clerical experience
- Experience with various modern office equipment and systems
- Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that meets minimum requirements
- Criminal justice/Fingerprint clearance
- Computer Proficiency: Demonstrated general proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
