Administrative Assistant and General accounting

Job Summary
Maintain accurate office file systems, reconcile accounts, and manage cash funds in accordance with Thai bookkeeping policies. Record financial information and general ledger entries into the BoB system using accounting software. Assist with office event executions, provide translation and interpretation between Thai and English, and perform receptionist duties as required. Work full-time Monday to Friday with flexibility for international operations, including potential weekend work and travel for meetings. Requires fluency in English and Thai, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles in general
- Thorough knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing and managing files and records
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to effectively meet deadlines and to perform several tasks at once
- Skilled in collaborating with teammates and external partners in a multicultural environment, as well as take initiatives
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in a related discipline
- 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in a not-for-profit, trade union environment or similar
- Ability to work fluently in both written and spoken English and Thai
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of any additional language would be considered as an asset
- some flexibility in recognition of the international nature of the organization
- Work that falls outside normal hours during the week, and at the weekend may be expected
- There may be a requirement to travel to attend meetings and functions
