Job Summary
Administrative Assistant at LJA Business Solutions supporting day-to-day activities of multiple workgroups. Responsibilities include organizing department initiatives, managing the Corporate Controller’s calendar (scheduling meetings, prioritizing conflicts, coordinating across departments), preparing meeting materials (agendas and supporting documents), arranging travel (flights, hotels, transportation, itineraries) and assisting with travel expense reports, drafting and distributing communications to the accounting department, ordering routine supplies for the accounting department, scheduling conference rooms and setting up beverages/food, and handling other administrative tasks as assigned. Requires an Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience and 2+ years of experience, with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, strong proofreading/editing, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to work well in a team under deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint knowledge
- Must be dependable and possess sense of urgency
- Previous experience in an engineering consulting firm strongly desired
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment; ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines
