Job Summary
Administrative Assistant 1/Residential Desk Services Lead supports overnight safety, security, and customer service for the residential community. Responsibilities include front-line customer service, administrative support to other administrative roles, resident and key audits, student account charges, calendar scheduling, and special projects, plus acting as a resource for student staff during overnight hours. The role emphasizes safety, documentation of incidents, and coordination with campus partners, including UNR Police and Facilities, on a non-traditional night schedule from midnight to 8:00 a.m. The candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent service during overnight operations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education and one (1) year of clerical experience which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records, answering telephones, and reviewing forms, documents and other written materials; OR Six (6) months of experience as an Administrative Aid in Nevada State service; OR An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
- Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in housing operations, residential life, or similar service environments. Familiarity with service desk operations, housing systems, and supporting community standards is preferred.
