Job Summary
Responsible for managing and supervising large-scale capital construction projects for the NYC DOC BBJ program, including review of architectural documents from design concept through construction, ensuring designs meet operational needs and security requirements, advising on best practices for corrections environments, supervising the design of new correctional facilities with detailed security drawings, identifying and documenting design issues with appropriate resolutions, managing punch lists, and developing jail-operations expertise while performing related duties.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Registration as an Architect
- Six (6) years of full-time paid architectural experience, including at least two (2) years as an administrative architect
