Job Summary

Coordinate administrative, logistical, financial, and information technology support for the C-STARS Omaha training program and assigned personnel. Manage records and databases, support course execution activities including student packet preparation and supply inventory, and facilitate staff meetings with the Course Director. Review and update training agreements, coordinate with external stakeholders, and maintain accurate documentation for organizational policies and initiatives. Balance workload while providing direction to staff on administrative matters, budgetary operations, and resource requirements. Perform light to moderate physical activities including lifting items up to 51 pounds and working in low-light environments. This role supports the Air Force Medical Service mission within a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administration or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and represent the organization in a professional manner
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to support a stable and effective workforce
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and cloud-based productivity applications, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicable Air Force and professional standards
  • Familiarity with military and civilian guidelines governing organizational policies and procedures
  • Ability to successfully complete USAFSAM and Department in-processing and orientation programs
  • Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise handle items weighing up to 51 pounds, with occasional encounters involving heavier items in accordance with applicable safety guidance
  • Ability to execute and maintain a company Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) due to potential access to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive information
  • Work in low-light and high-volume environments and under varying weather conditions that may simulate actual aeromedical evacuation mission environments
  • Perform a combination of sedentary duties and light to moderate physical activities
  • Regularly perform activities such as walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items
  • Work periodically on hard surfaces
  • Lift and move Human Patient Simulation (HPS) equipment between rooms and training areas
  • Lift, carry, or otherwise handle items weighing up to 51 pounds, with occasional encounters involving items greater than 51 pounds, in accordance with applicable NIOSH guidance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a military or Department of Defense environment
  • Familiarity with military protocols and administrative processes
  • Experience supporting military administrative actions, including: Decorations, Performance evaluations, Reports, Other personnel-related administrative requirements
  • Experience coordinating with Air Force, DoD, military, government, or civilian organizations
  • Experience supporting medical, healthcare, training, or operational organizations
  • Experience with logistics, inventory management, supply coordination, or resource management
  • Familiarity with Air Force Medical Service organizations and processes
