Job Summary
Respond to inquiries regarding undergraduate and graduate departmental offerings and policies. Prioritize office activities, delegate tasks to student and casual employees, and monitor their work. Coordinate center events and programming, managing pre-event preparation, onsite execution, and post-event closeout and reconciliation. Compose letters and correspondence while performing word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry duties. Monitor moderately complex budgets and grants. Work at least two evening events weekly from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with supervisor confirmation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years (with High School diploma)
- 1 year of office experience (with Associate's degree)
- Proficiency with intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
- Moderate, accurate keyboarding
- Ability to conduct some tasks in Spanish
- Must be available to work at least two (2) evening events per week
- Events typically held from 6:00p.m. to 8:30p.m.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years (with Associate's degree)
- Proficiency with intermediate-level Microsoft Office
- Good writing and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Spanish
