Job Summary
Receptionist duties include greeting and directing visitors, interacting with residents and staff, providing information to inquiries to support marketing and sales efforts, maintaining directories, operating the telephone system, ensuring a clean and safe reception area, handling light clerical tasks, and contributing to team efforts. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, strong verbal/written communication, the ability to work weekends and overtime, and a background check with a current food handlers card. The position offers hourly compensation with potential shift differentials and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.
- Good organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to relate positively with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other staff.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
- Maintains current food handlers card.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Ability to work independently (with minimum supervision)
