Job Summary
Director of Operations at Anchor Church responsible for overarching infrastructure and organizational health across facilities, finance, technology, and HR to support ministry objectives. Lead facility operations, hospitality, space planning, safety and child-protection policies; drive budgeting, accounts payable, vendor management, and key organizational health metrics. Oversee HR processes (onboarding/offboarding, benefits, payroll, background checks), org-structure maintenance, Employment Law compliance, and policy development. Manage Planning Center data integrity and IT infrastructure, and champion tools adoption to reduce friction and increase ministry capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with Anchor's mission, values, and culture
- Proven experience in operations or organizational management; church, nonprofit, or comparable environment
- Systems thinker who builds scalable structures
- Strong financial acumen; comfortable with budgets, reports, and stewardship
- Excellent communicator across staff, vendors, volunteers, and leadership
- Self-directed and adaptable across multiple congregations and a growing organization
- Licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance required
