Job Summary
Provide first, second, and third-level support for main offices, plants, distribution centers, and remote locations across legacy and modern IT environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and Windows servers. Manage workstations, network hardware, switches, firewalls, and telephony systems while collaborating with functional areas to implement operational requirements for new and existing IT systems. Design, install, and maintain production control and monitoring equipment in a 24/7 environment, oversee team performance and vendor compliance, and execute proactive maintenance, security tasks, and upgrades. This role involves managing M365 licenses, user access controls, and website maintenance, with up to 25% travel between sites. Based in the Magdalen Islands, the position requires bilingual French and English skills and offers a permanent full-time residence status with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in this function
- University or college degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Functional English and French (spoken and written)
- Exceptional knowledge of the modern workplace, M365, computer operating systems, and server application platforms
- Direct experience with the installation of computer hardware and software
- Permanent work permit and legal authorization to work in Canada
- Ability to work in a 24 x 7 environment
- Ability to think logically and act decisively in critical situations
- Assurance in communication
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
