Job Summary
Document physical models, update tables as required, and create installation guides while drafting all relevant documentation. Execute proof-of-concepts and prototyping as needed, and collaborate on activities facilitating migration to the cloud. Administer SQL Server databases in cloud environments, utilizing AlwaysOn synchronous replication features across versions 2008 through 2019. This role supports TEHORA's multidisciplinary team in delivering technical and project management services nationally and internationally. Candidates will work on internal and client-facing mandates within the transportation, civil engineering, and IT sectors, benefiting from a horizontal organizational structure that fosters direct client interaction and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a systems development or maintenance analyst with a relational database management system (SGBD relationnel)
- 2 years of experience as a data administrator
- 3 years of experience with SQL Server
- Knowledge of SQL Server versions 2008, 2012, 2016, 2017, and 2019
- Knowledge of synchronous replication features with AlwaysOn for SQL Server 2012 and later
- Participation in a SQL Server to cloud database migration project within the last three years
- Experience administering databases in a cloud environment
- Willingness to work remotely or on-site at the client location
