Job Summary

Coordinate quality-related resources, tasks, and processes to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Review and approve new product information, supplier documentation, and records to meet Canadian regulations and food safety standards. Maintain accurate internal and external databases, lead the customer complaint process for traded goods, and evaluate improvements to quality processes impacting finished product specifications. Ensure all product labels comply with applicable government regulations and provide required documentation to customers in a timely manner. This role supports internal and external customer satisfaction by ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality documentation outputs while promoting continuous improvement as a cultural mindset.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Food Science or a related field from a recognized institution, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and documentation management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and documentation management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus

Desired Qualifications

  • French language skills considered an asset
