Job Summary
Administrative Assistant supports multiple departments with general office duties including scheduling, filing, and typing; maintains training materials and SOPs, coordinates meetings and conferences, handles mail and supplies, and assists with special projects. Responsibilities include document preparation, meeting notes and follow-up, travel arrangements, and ensuring confidentiality of personnel and agency information; requires strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills, proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role may involve event planning support and occasional after-hours participation in fundraising events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an A.A./A.S. degree in Business, Marketing or related to Social Services industry.
- 2 years of experience working/volunteering for a non-profit organization.
- Must have working experience with Microsoft Word 365 (Excel, Power Point, Power Automate and other related apps), Adobe Creative Suite, CANVA (video creation and editing), Airtable, and Visio.
- Punctual and proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Must be able to communicate clearly; both verbally and in writing.
- Possess the ability to work as a team member, take initiative and excellent problem-solving skills.
