Job Summary

Follow all corporate safety protocols while performing routine installations and maintenance on assigned semiconductor products. Conduct log analysis of system errors during qualification and testing, then troubleshoot hardware and software issues with minimal supervision. Assist on-the-job training for internal technicians and interact with multi-national teams to understand technical information. Submit status reports, input data to QA check sheets, and recommend technical solutions to engineering groups. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, maintain accurate equipment records, and attend daily field meetings. Wear full PPE including Tyvek suits and safety gear. Work M-F from 5:30am to 4:15pm at $25/hr DOE in Phoenix, AZ. Valid driver's license and ability to work at heights are required.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic proficiency with mechanical hand tools
  • Basic understanding of AC/DC voltage components and the use of a digital multimeter
  • Ability to read a tape measure (standard and metric)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work a Saturday shift as needed
  • Ability to solve practical problems and work with varying conditions where limited standardization exists
  • Comfortable working at heights and operating a scissor lift
  • Proficiency with PC applications (MS Office, Excel, Windows)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship

  • Ability to assist on-the-job training to the internal technician in routine operation, installation, and troubleshooting of assigned products
  • Effectively troubleshoot issues for both hardware and software
  • Professionally interact with and understand technical information from the internal team and multi-national and multi-language teams
  • Work with minimum supervision, as needed, and recommend technical solutions/resolutions to engineering groups
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all work done on the equipment and machines
  • Make continuing visual and audible observations of the machines to detect any abnormalities
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements
