Job Summary

Investigate all lines insurance claims within assigned territory, obtaining loss reports, statements, and photos to evaluate coverage and determine liability. Set reserves, confirm coverage for new claims, and settle cases within authority limits by issuing payments and obtaining liability releases. Analyze accumulated data to prepare claims summaries and confer with the District Claims Manager on complex exposures exceeding settlement authority. Maintain company vehicle, submit weekly expense accounts, and travel to county offices or storm teams as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Two to four years related experience and/or training
  • Valid driver's license or obtainment of valid Oklahoma driver's license
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • Current Oklahoma adjuster license or obtainment of valid Oklahoma adjuster's license
  • Investigative skills
