Job Summary
Prioritize policyholders during their time loss through demonstrated empathy and understanding while managing a flexible schedule to meet the needs of insureds and carriers. Conduct residential and commercial property adjusting, writing damage estimates in Xactimate with strong written and verbal communication skills. Maintain clear, consistent, and timely communication with carrier clients and exercise independent judgment to effectively manage your workload. You must be open to receiving and providing feedback, including real-time Quality Assurance and quarterly coaching sessions. This role requires a current, active Xactimate license, equipment to access roofs, and the ability to pass a background screen.
Required Qualifications
- Independent Adjuster in the Fort Wayne area
- Prioritize policyholders during their time loss through demonstrated empathy and understanding
- Outstanding work ethic
- Flexible schedule to help meet the needs of insureds and carriers
- Clear, consistent, and timely communication
- Open to receiving and providing feedback
- Ability to effectively and independently manage workload while exercising good judgement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technological skills with the ability to work within various claims management systems
- Minimum of three years of residential and commercial property adjusting experience
- Current, active Xactimate license and experience writing both residential and commercial damage estimates in Xactimate
- Ability to pass a background screen
- Current, active license where required
- Equipment and ability to access roofs
