Job Summary
Adjust ocean and inland marine claims (TM Claims Service) by determining liability, reviewing survey reports, and ensuring coverage where applicable. Responsible for surveyor coordination, loss history appraisal, preparing correspondence with claimants/brokers, concluding settlements, and protecting rights against liable third parties. Requires data-entry proficiency, attention to detail, organizational skills, teamwork, and adherence to internal controls; experience with marine/inland marine claims and Auto industry context preferred. Also performs in-house projects and supports team members while maintaining regular attendance.
Required Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Strong PC skills, including Word and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Auto industry experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year related experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
