Job Summary
Credit part-time adjunct faculty teaching positions in Mechanical for the Mechanical Technology program. Adjunct Instructors will teach various credit courses focusing on mechanical maintenance processes, including core components like bearings, belts, gears, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems troubleshooting. Candidates should demonstrate both experiential understanding of mechanical components and the ability to instruct students in certificate programs and degree candidates. Classes will require both lecture and laboratory preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Hands on and related experience in mechanical maintenance and/or design.
- Ability to convey basic concepts to students following a prescribed curriculum.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in all facets of mechanical maintenance and design is desirable.
- Specialty training in specific mechanical areas may be considered.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates should have some form of academic instruction at the college level, including associate’s degree level or above is desirable but not required.
