Job Summary
Adjunct Teaching Faculty for Nursing (MSN Nurse Executive) at Alliant International University. Faculty teach in classroom and distributed/online formats, develop and coordinate curricula, prepare syllabi, assess learners, and mentor graduate students including MA theses and PhD/EdD/DBA dissertations. Roles require collaboration with registrars and university departments, ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and support student success in graduate nursing programs. Must hold or be eligible for unencumbered RN licensure in the state of residence (California licensure for online programs and other roles as applicable); doctoral degree preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in nursing (MSN) with doctorate preferred
- unencumbered RN licensure in California and state of residence (for online post-licensure programs) or in state of residence (for other roles)
- two years of full-time RN clinical experience
- experience teaching and course development in graduate nursing programs preferred
- Certified Nurse Educator or nursing leadership certification preferred (NE-BC, NEA-BC, CNML)
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions
- Background check clearance requirements
