Adjunct Teaching - English Dept - ENGL 211/212: Rhetoric and Civilization 1 & 2

Teach GE Rhetoric and Civilization courses ENGL 211 and ENGL 212 at the BYU Provo campus in-person. Require an MFA in Creative Writing or MA in English (or comparable field) completed before start date. Responsibilities include college-level instruction in English literature, delivering course content, providing timely feedback on assignments, and maintaining at least three office hours per week. Instructors share an office with up to two adjunct faculty, and may be involved in minimal ad hoc curricular/mentoring tasks with additional compensation. Training and periodic course coordination meetings may be required. Applicants must reside in Utah for the duration of employment and be available for in-person teaching; relocation and/or residence in Utah may be necessary.
