Job Summary
Adjunct clinical educator role at BYU Speech and Language Clinic focusing on supervising graduate students in real client contact with adults and/or children with communication disorders. Responsibilities include direct supervision meeting minimum live supervision standards (25% per client), providing timely indirect supervision through verbal and written feedback, assisting in planning assessments and treatments, hands-on teaching through student consultations and co-treatment demonstrations, instruction on current evidence-based therapy techniques, and verbal feedback on clinical writing during pre-conferences, daily notes, and reports. The position supports the faculty mission, offers CEU opportunities, and requires relocation to Utah for the term; documentation includes CV, cover letter, and mission alignment statements where applicable. Required Qualifications
- MS in a related field
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Utah
- ASHA CCC-SLP
- Experience supervising graduate student clinicians
- Experience with assessment and treatment of adults and/or children with communication disorders
- Supervision ability meeting 25% live supervision per client as per ASHA standards
- Relocation to Utah may be required for duration of employment
