Job Summary
Facilitate an online course in your teaching discipline while integrating a Christian worldview. Responsibilities include improving instructional quality, developing facilitation methods, cultivating an online learning community, timely student communication, evaluating student progress, and maintaining accurate records. A Master’s degree is required, with preference given to candidates with a terminal degree and teaching certification. Candidates must have five years of relevant facilitation experience and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in teaching discipline
- Five years of work experience in online or resident course facilitation
- Official transcript required for employment and written proof of certification in area of expertise
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in area of course facilitation preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills in an online setting
- Organizational abilities in online course facilitation
Additional Requirements
- Applicant must be a born-again Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must agree with and affirm the Bob Jones University creed, mission, and core biblical doctrines
- Must maintain a conservative lifestyle and support Bob Jones University’s positions on various issues
- Must be an active member of a local Bible-believing church with orthodox theology
