Job Summary
Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty member needed to reinforce didactic content, observe student performance during clinical rotations, participate in grading and evaluation, ensure accreditation compliance, and travel to Tucson-area student sites. Requires travel within the Tucson, AZ area to observe student performance; teaching responsibilities include reinforcing nursing knowledge and skills for pre-licensure students, collaborating with faculty for evaluation, staying current with field trends, and supporting the program's mission and Doctrinal/Ethical statements. Minimum education: Bachelor’s in nursing with 3 years of mental health nursing experience or current certification; active AZ or multi-state RN license; drug screen and competency testing required. Preferred: MSN or higher.
Required Qualifications
- MSN or higher preferred
- Bachelor’s in nursing AND 3 years of direct patient care nursing experience in mental health nursing OR relevant national certification
- active RN license in AZ or multi-state (compact)
- pass drug test and competency testing
- excellent communication and relationship-building skills
