Job Summary
Adjunct RN Faculty in Obstetrics: Teach and reinforce didactic content, evaluate and document student progress toward clinical objectives, participate in grading of written and clinical performance, ensure program accreditation compliance, and travel to student sites within the Tucson area to observe clinical performance. Requires RN licensure (Arizona or compact), MSN preferred or BSN with current OB/women's health experience, strong communication skills, and ability to support a faith-based university mission.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or multi-state compact
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN)
- 3 years of direct patient care nursing experience in OB/women's health nursing (minimum) OR enrollment in a graduate program OR relevant national certification for teaching area
- Ability to pass background check and drug test
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel to GCU student sites within Tucson area for rotations
- Teaching/academic coordination experience preferred
