Job Summary
Adjunct RN Faculty focusing on obstetrics, teaching pre-licensure nursing students in a clinical adjunct role. Responsibilities include reinforcing didactic content, evaluating and documenting student progress toward clinical objectives, participating in grading written and clinical performance check-offs, staying current with trends in nursing practice, maintaining program accreditation compliance, and traveling to GCU student sites to observe performance. Requires active RN license (AZ or multi-state), Bachelor's in Nursing with OB experience, and MSN or higher preferred (or enrollment in a graduate program). Travel to Phoenix-area student sites and ability to support the university’s mission and values are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (AZ or multi-state)
- Bachelor's in Nursing
- 3 years of direct patient care nursing experience in OB/women's health
- MSN or higher preferred or enrolled in graduate program
- Ability to successfully pass drug test and competency testing
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel to GCU student sites for clinical observations
