Job Summary
Prepare and deliver academic instruction in the Respiratory Therapy program, including developing syllabi, content, and assessments. Maintain class records, submit grade reports for financial aid compliance, and participate in student grade appeal procedures. Post conference hours and observe the college calendar while assessing student learning according to the assessment plan. Teaching assignments may cover full ranges of undergraduate courses across morning, afternoon, evening, and online offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Two years' clinical experience in the professional discipline of Respiratory Therapy
- Holds Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential
- Current respiratory therapy state license
- All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university
Desired Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience
- Experience and/or desire to use new instructional technology
