Job Summary
Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals, providing effective instruction and assessment, and maintaining accurate student records. Responsibilities include delivering assigned classes per College policy, developing course materials, engaging proactively with students, and promoting an inclusive educational environment. Qualifications include a baccalaureate degree, RRT certification, Indiana RTP license, and four years of direct experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess an earned baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Must be an Indiana-licensed Respiratory Therapy Practitioner (RTP).
- Must have four years direct experience in Respiratory Therapy.
- Strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
- Conducts activities with appreciation and respect for diversity.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred candidates will be available to travel to offsite locations in Northeast Indiana such as clinics and hospitals.
- Flexible availability, including early morning starts may be required.
