Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Associate's Degree from an AVMA-accredited program in Veterinary Technology or related field
• •current licensure as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Veterinary Medicine in the state of Texas
• •ability to perform duties on-site
• •subject to a criminal background check
• •ability to perform duties in accordance with college policies, procedures and core values
• •ability to teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi
• •understanding of culturally responsive teaching
• •knowledge of the teaching field
• •ability to meet professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures
• •ability to perform duties on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations
• •ability to perform evening and weekend programs
• •ability to perform Dual Credit courses
• •ability to perform other duties as assigned
• •ability to maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures and core values
• •ability to perform duties in accordance with Texas Education Code §51.992
• •ability to perform duties in an office environment
• •ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
• •ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
